Refund Policy

Please email us at admin@lockyerbins.com.au within 7 days of the end of your hire period if you are not satisfied with your hire so that we can resolve any issues.

  • Refunds will not be provided if bins are cancelled after delivery.
  • A refund will be provided if cancelled prior to bin delivery.
    • 10% admin fee will be charged in the event of a cancellation prior to delivery.
  • $50 bin relocation fee will be charged if the wrong delivery address is provided by the customer.
  • Ipswich Skips will move bins at our cost if delivered to the wrong address as a result of our error.
  • Bins will be moved within 24 hours if placed at the wrong location regardless who made the error.

Security Policy

Ipswich Skips uses the eWAY Payment Gateway for its online credit card transactions.

eWAY processes online credit card transactions for thousands of Australian merchants, providing a safe and secure means of collecting payments via the Internet.

  • All online credit card transactions performed on this site using the eWAY gateway are secured payments.
  • Payments are fully automated with an immediate response.
  • Your complete credit card number cannot be viewed by Ipswich Skips or any outside party.

Collection of Information

In order to use the Ipswich Skips website, we may require information from you in order to provide the best service possible.

All correspondence may also be collected and stored, particularly in regard to sales, support and accounts, including Email.

Any information collected by Ipswich Skips is collected via correspondence from you or your company. This may be via the telephone, Email, mail, fax or directly through our website.

Delivery Policy

After ordering online, you will receive an email confirmation containing your order details (if you have provided your email address). We will normally confirm receipt of your order within a few minutes of ordering.

  • The skip will arrive on the date and to the location you have specified.
  • $50 bin relocation fee will be charged if the wrong delivery address is provided by the customer.
  • Ipswich Skips will move bins at our cost if delivered to the wrong address as a result of our error.

Overfilling the bin

Where possible the driver will try to take the skip and the waste,  these will be placed in a neat pile, where possible, near the site of the bin.

If the driver is unable to be removed the excess waste or overloaded item(s), we will try to contact you to arrange a bin to be delivered to place excess waste in to.

If this is the case a wasted trip fee WILL be charged at $110 and deducted from your card.

Terms and Conditions of Hire

Lockyer Bins does not hold a Licence to carry Regulated Waste with the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection (EHP). No regulated waste permitted eg:- asbestos fibro, tyres, dangerous goods (fuel, chemicals, oils).

By ordering and / or accepting the skip bin, you agree to these terms and conditions.
It is the hirer’s responsibility to

  1. Keep all rubbish confined in bin, do not overload.
  2. Lockyer Bins will not be responsible for any damage to clients property if the bin is placed according to hirer’s instructions.
  3. To pay any extra costs, as a result of overloading or incorrect loading of the bin by the customer, his/her agent or other person(s) whilst the bin is at the customer’s premises or under his/her control
  4. All unsuccessful attempts at either delivery or collection of a bin where the reason the attempt was unsuccessful is outside the control of Lockyer Bins will incur a fee of a minimum of $140 per delivery or collection attempt.
  5. We reserve the right to list any default payments with relevant credit reference agencies which will affect your official credit rating.
  6. Should the driver become bogged in an area declared safe by the hirer, the hirer shall pay all costs associated with the recovery of the vehicle and any cost associated with returning the property to prior condition.
  7. Overweight / Overloaded bins will NOT be transported or Overweight / Overloaded charges will apply.
  8. Any bin(s) damaged while on site will be repaired and costs forwarded to the hirer.
  9. Once an order has been received any cancellation will incur a 10% cancellation fee
  10. If bin is shifted from delivery position, no responsibility will be accepted for damage on removal eg too close to buildings or on driveways.
  11. To pay Lockyer Bins for any equipment lost or stolen, whilst at the customer’s premises or under control, at the rates invoiced by Lockyer Bins.
  12. If bin is shifted from delivery position it is the hirer’s responsibility to return bin to the original delivery site in preparation for collection.
